Taking LIVMARLI

Two convenient options. One small dose twice daily.

The only ileal bile acid transporter (IBAT) inhibitor available as a tablet or a liquid (oral solution) medicine.

Both LIVMARLI tablets and liquid medicine are taken by mouth.

Tablet

Tablets come in 4 fixed doses:

4 LIVMARLI tablets (10mg, 15mg, 20mg, and 30mg) with a dime for scale sitting to the right of them. All 4 tablets are smaller than the dime.

Tablets and dime not actual size. Dime shown for scale.

Liquid

Take directly from the measuring device delivered with your medicine.

  • One dose, twice per day

Both LIVMARLI tablets and liquid medicine should be taken twice daily at the dosage prescribed. Take LIVMARLI 30 minutes before a meal.

Importance of weight-based dosing
  • Your doctor will prescribe the right dose of LIVMARLI for you
  • The dose of LIVMARLI you take depends on—and changes with—your weight
  • It is important to tell your doctor and your Mirum Access Plus Navigator about any weight changes throughout treatment with LIVMARLI
  • Never change the amount of LIVMARLI without first talking to your doctor
What happens if a dose is missed?
  • If you miss a dose within 6 hours of the time you normally take it, take LIVMARLI as soon as possible. Then take your next dose at the usual time
  • If a dose is missed by more than 6 hours, skip the dose and continue your original dosing schedule with the next dose
  • Staying on track

Staying on therapy, even after you start to feel relief from your cholestatic pruritus, can help ensure consistent benefit from your medicine.
